In early June, my brother Jordan took a new job and with his wife moved 1,000 miles away. They had been waiting a month for their belongings to be delivered when on July 14, 2018, my sister-in-law, Heidi, went into labor with her first child after a difficult and complicated pregnancy. Just hours later she and my brother received the devastating news that there was a warehouse fire, and all of their possessions including everything they had prepared for the baby, were lost in the fire. After 33 hours of labor, baby Lance was born on July 15 via emergency c-section. Thankfully, Mom and baby are in good health, but now Jordan and Heidi face the overwhelming task of bringing their brand-new baby home to an empty apartment with none of the items they had lovingly prepared for his arrival.

They need our help with re-establishing their home as they work through the long process of filing insurance claims and rebuilding their lives, which will be slow and difficult, realizing that the insurance will never cover the value of all that was lost. They are in immediate need of numerous necessities and baby items.
