Rebuild the JnJ Retreat
Donazione protetta
Hi, we are Jerry and Jamie Hough, also known as JnJ. We relocated to Sanibel Island two years ago to fulfill a dream of beach living. In addition, we wanted to create a memorable destination for our family and a respite for those we know serving in ministry. We call it the JnJ Retreat.
Tragically our dream is put on pause. The storm surge from Hurricane Ian severely impacted our island home. We lost furnishings, appliances, clothing, books, personal items, drywall, flooring, and much more. Thankfully the structure and roof were left intact. And not one window was broken.
As I told our story, I mentioned that we had no flood insurance. It always seemed too expensive to add to our homeowner's policy. Right then, I was encouraged to start a Go Fund Me and watch our friends and community help us fund a portion of our home's restoration.
Friends, would you consider giving to help offset the cost of refurnishing and rebuilding? Your generous gift will be used to purchase flooring, appliances, kitchen cabinets, paint and a new hvac. We are grateful for every dollar given to help restore and reopen our home.
God bless.
