The Hythe Motor Speedway is a volunteer run 3/8-mile high banked asphalt oval located in Hythe, AB. The track opened in 1995 and is run by the Peace Area Motor Sports Association, a non-profit group made up of numerous volunteers. Our facility is one of the most exciting oval tracks in Western Canada but is showing its age.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to help raise the funding necessary to completely pave the infield of the track and if funding allows, repave the racing surface as well. This will expand the usable area for our racers but also allow our facility to host additional events like drift shows, autocross, monster trucks, drive-in movies, drivers training courses, and community events just to name a few.

The total cost of the project is over $700,000. In addition to the funds our club has been saving we have applied to grant programs with the County of Grande Prairie and the Province of Alberta. We hope to revitalize our facility and help make the Hythe Motor Speedway a hub for the entire Peace Country. *If we are unable to secure the necessary funding for this project, monies raised through this GoFundMe project will be returned to their donors.
