Help Us Grow CatsRus!

Cats Rescue Us or more widely known as CatsRus here in Northern Ireland has been looking to build a cat rescue that brings a shift on the view of how everyone perceives cats and kittens. It is known that in the eyes of the government and law cats are highly disregarded compared to "man's best friend" and that is something CatsRus is looking to change.

Over the recent months, we have been running from our own home looking to do what we can with the space we have, using our backroom as the base of operations for the Cats and Kittens. However, it's been a real struggle having to either put people looking to rehome cats on a waiting list for 2 months or completely turn them down which is never an easy thing to do. 

This is why as of today we are looking for the support to grow out of the backroom and reach new heights with a recently found property that we could look to rent. This space we have found fits perfectly having 4 different rooms with an additional open room/main floor. We can use these rooms for different things from a quarantine room to having a meet and greet room, a playroom and so much more.  It will give us a chance to show who we are and what we are trying to achieve!

In addition to the rescue to help generate future funds for the cats and kittens in our care, we want to use the main floor as a place to showcase products that the rescue sells on our website, but also we are thinking of creating a coffee shop on top of this to allow people to simply meet the wee fur babies in an open-space environment. This will not only allow them to be themselves but also gives them a chance to meet their forever family without the restraints of being locked away.
