On the morning of Christmas, tragedy struck our beloved Tamayo Judo Dojo in Los Altos. A fire destroyed our cherished space, leaving behind ashes and memories of a place where families, friends, and passionate judo enthusiasts gathered.
Only a year old, the dojo has already become a hub of warmth, discipline, and learning, all under the guidance of our most incredible and beloved Sensei Raul Tamayo. His dedication and love for judo touched the hearts of countless kids and families, making the dojo more than just a building—it was a second home.
The fire has taken away our physical space, but it cannot extinguish the spirit and dedication that this dojo stands for.
