My Name is Hans Schavemaker, I am currently the shop Mgr for the Antiques Loft in Lititz which is also home to Sylvan Brandt Antique Flooring.

On 7/3/25 our warehouse was flooded due to the heavy rains. The complete basement was in shambles in both blog's. The flooring bldg #1 had extensive damage to both our equipment and machinery forcing us to offload all our milling and planing operations to outside sources. bldg#2 had water up to 30'' plus, the architectural items were floating everywhere. it also caused people to lose time from work.

Then on July 30th bldg#1 caught fire and delivered the final PUNCH.....we are now shut down for an indeterminate time which means the owners livelihood has come to a Halt not to mention our 25 dealers in Bldg#2 are unable to sell their Antiques for who knows how long. PPL is unable to give us a lead-time to supply service repairs to get us back in operation. it is now the owners burden to find ways to get the job of electrical moved from one bldg#1 to Bldg#2...He has borrowed a generator but he needs electrician to hook it up before this Wednesday. if you are uaable to donate funds...maybe you know of an electrician?? who will volunteer his/her time?
