Rebuild St. John's School After Hurricane Melissa

Donation protected
Help us rebuild and restore St. John's Infant School to its students, teachers and parents!

I have seen the destruction, suffering and pain caused by Hurricane Melissa in Western Jamaica, first hand. I walked the streets, talked with survivors and spent time with the children, traumatized by the storm. Now it's time to rebuild. One person, one family, one school, one town all at the same time, with all hands on deck!

Prior to the storm, St. John's Infant School accommodated 75 students and turned away many due to a shortage of space. Today, there is only enough space and chairs to teach half that many. IN addition, the nearby basic school was completely destroyed, leaving those children also without a center of education.

We, (Michael & I alongside Jamaica youth for Christ) have adopted the school but we cannot do it alone. They need desks, chairs
school supplies
teaching aids
audio visual equipment
kitchen and equipment
and so much more to return the school to an institute of excellence.

We hope to raise enough funds to buy and retrofit a container for additional classroom space and if possible, to also help the basic school. We are working closely with the principal, a local trusted businessman who is a personal friend and a Justice of the Peace as well as concerned parents.

Please help us. Every little bit counts. Big bits count too!

Blessings, peace and love!
