What once were vibrant neighbourhoods are now unrecognisable: roads torn apart, schools destroyed, hospitals and homes submerged, and families displaced with nowhere to turn. The water has taken more than possessions; it has taken lives. Many parents are grieving children and many children are now without parents. Entire towns are struggling to understand how to begin again.

Sri Lanka is a country rich with resilience, culture, and heart. We have endured hardship before, but this disaster has struck a wound deeper than many can bear alone. Our people are strong, but right now, they need help to stand back up.
