Hurricane Melissa has left our beloved Southfield community in Saint Elizabeth reeling. Homes have been damaged, roads washed out, and many families—including children and elders—are facing power outages, food shortages, and emotional distress. As a parent and neighbor, I’ve seen firsthand how this storm has disrupted lives and shaken our sense of safety.
This fundraiser is to support urgent needs for families and friends in Southfield who are struggling to recover. Funds will go toward:
• Emergency repairs for damaged homes and roofs
• Nutritious meals and clean drinking water for children and elders
• ️ Bedding, clothing, and comfort items for displaced families
• Gentle care supplies and emotional support tools for kids
• Pet food and shelter for animals affected by the storm
• Flashlights, batteries, and storm-safe supplies for ongoing resilience
Every dollar helps us rebuild not just structures, but hope. If you’ve ever felt the warmth of Southfield’s people, now’s the time to give back. We’re strong, but we need each other.
Please share, donate, and help us restore comfort, dignity, and safety to our community.
With gratitude,
Sasha & the Southfield Recovery Team
