Help Fight to Keep Sandpiper Open
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
My name is Robin Shaw, and I am a retired nurse practitioner. For those who know me, I have tried to spend my life helping people. I am not one to ask for help, but Hurricane Helene has made this beyond my ability to do this alone. In that light, I have started a GoFundMe account to help Sandpiper Resort Co-Op, a 55 and older trailer community on Anna Maria Island/Bradenton Beach that has been completely devastated by Hurricane Helene.
This community is old Anna Maria. Most of the units in the community are old trailers that have been completely decimated by the storm and not covered by any insurance. We are a tight-knit group and are trying to support each other in the recovery efforts. Most have lost everything.
These funds would go directly to Sandpiper. Our streets are full of sand that needs to be removed. The community center, docks, small library, laundry facility, office, and small seating area by the bay have all been severely damaged. I appreciate any donation that you could make. Please accept my thanks on behalf of our wounded but resilient community.

All proceeds to be distributed to Sand Piper Community to help fight to keep the park open.
