Hurricane Ian Recovery for Ralph and Lucy
Donation protected
Ralph and Lucy recently sold their home in Indiana and purchased a home in Fort Myers, FL. Hurricane Ian decimated Fort Myers and flooded their house with around 2 inches of water. Flood insurance is not offered in most of Florida, and it is prohibitively expensive where it is.
I am doing everything possible to help them rebuild and repair, but I can’t do it alone. If you’ve experienced Ralph and Lucy’s love and joy over the years, please consider donating. All funds will go directly to them to repair damages and replace destroyed possessions. FEMA will likely condemn their entire neighborhood, meaning the house will be demolished. All donated funds will then go to either rebuilding or relocating. If it is not condemned, they need to replace the floors, cabinets, walls and insulation, washer and dryer, refrigerator, HVAC system (possibly), and most of the furniture. The $25,000 goal will not cover everything lost. They could use all the love and support you can give.
