Rebuild Raine's Home

I am fundraising for my mother Medrithe Lorraine Teel. If you have known her for some time you may have known her by Mimi in the past, now she is known as Raine. We are grateful regardless of the loss because she is alive thanks to her neighbor who noticed the fire and pounded on the door. She was inside the house about to shower unaware of the fire in the attic. Thank God for a good neighbor who was not even supposed to be home, he was the guardian angel who saved her life. We are eternally grateful for Ed's attention and concern for his neighbor!

Raine's home was uninsured but the tragedy goes beyond the fire damage. Her home was her sanctuary, studio, and library. Her most precious possessions are her books, art, and pictures of her original commissioned artwork are lost due to water from the firefighter's efforts to save what they could of the house. We are also grateful for their efforts and humanity as they fought the fire while mindful to remove as much of her art from the house as possible. Please recognize and praise their purpose to put themselves in peril protecting us, THANK YOU SINCERELY! Her home can be rebuilt but much of what was lost can not. Rebuilding will not be an easy task! The roof & trusses were severely burned. The ceilings dropped from the weight of the wet insulation and the water has destroyed the wood floors. The home needs a total rebuild and renovation. The firefighters deemed it uninhabitable, They pulled the electric meter and shut off the gas, but thankfully it did not explode!

Raine has lived her life as an artist and student of holistic healing. She is a legitimate daughter of the American Revolution.

Everything in the home was damaged by fire, water, or smoke. What is left has to be restored or reproduced so she has to begin again. She will gratefully accept anything that can be offered to help rebuild or to apply her artistic and holistic gifts to bring her income. I want to thank all who take the time to read this or offer to help her fund her needs or find her way! Her gifts and wisdom are abundant and she is eager to apply them! Please help my mother rise from the ashes and reclaim her sanctuary. May all who can help and even wish her well be blessed!
