Our parent’s Snohomish, Sultan and Everett farms were flooded in early December 2025 due to atmospheric rains. We are asking for your assistance to rebuild some of our farm losses.
Pa Garden was built by Pa and Doua Chang. They raised 7 children growing and selling flower bouquets at Pike Place, Snohomish, Edmonds, and Ballard Farmers Market.
Our parents face an extremely challenging 2026 growing season as they will need repair equipment and replace established perennials. Below are our estimates on losses at this time. Flood levels are still high and we don’t know the full extent of damages. Your donations will go towards the list below.
Tractor (lost under water): $15k
3 greenhouse: $9k
2 sheds: $4k
bulbs and seeds: $5k
buckets and tools $5k
water pump: $3k
We greatly appreciate our greater Seattle community. We understand many others have experienced losses due to flooding and are grateful for all of your support.
Updates: The majority of the water has decreased. Many pennials won't make it back. Work is being done on tractors. The rebuilding of the greenhouse and outbuildings will come after the clearing is complete. Many thanks to everyone who has assisted. Will keeps providing updates. Gratitude
