Help Rebuild Newhall Refinery

On August 24, 2026, a devastating fire destroyed Newhall Refinery, a gathering place that has been part of Old Town Newhall for more than 13 years. For years, the Refinery has been more than a restaurant. It has been where friends gathered, families celebrated, local musicians performed, and countless memories were made. When Ralph and Christine stepped in to carry Newhall Refinery forward, they took on more than the responsibility of running a restaurant. They embraced the responsibility of caring for a place that means something deeply to this community and for the employees who have become the heart and soul of the Refinery family.

Today, those employees have suddenly lost their workplace and livelihood. I am creating this fundraiser to help support Newhall Refinery in this incredibly difficult and uncertain time, while helping the Refinery family begin the long journey toward recovery and the goal of rebuilding. A portion of these proceeds will go toward the staff to help them in this uncertain time. The outpouring of love from Santa Clarita has already been overwhelming, and so many people have asked, “How can we help?” This is one way. Every contribution and every share will help support the people who made Newhall Refinery special and help keep alive the hope of rebuilding one of the hearts of Old Town Newhall. The building may be gone, but the people, the memories, and the spirit of Newhall Refinery remain.
