Growing up, I always dreamed of a loving and nurturing home, but my reality was far from it. For years, I endured physical, emotional, financial and psychological abuse at the hands of someone who was supposed to protect me. The scars left behind are not just physical; they run deep within my soul.

Now, as a mother myself, my greatest fear is that my children will experience the same pain and trauma that I did. They deserve better - they deserve a safe haven where they can grow and thrive without fear.

I am reaching out today in hopes of finding support in rebuilding our lives. It takes immense courage to break free from an abusive relationship, but the journey doesn't end there. The aftermath is often filled with uncertainty and challenges.

Financially, we are struggling to make ends meet, pay our bills and keep gas in the car and food on the table. The abuse has left me emotionally drained and physically exhausted, making it difficult for me to get to school and work. Without a steady income, providing for my children's basic needs becomes an uphill battle. I am on track to graduate school March 19th, 2024, achieving my goal giving myself more independence and ability to care for my children without the need to live in fear of violence, gaslighting and manipulation.

Moreover, finding resources to keep our home has become increasingly challenging. The memories of abuse haunt us daily; we need a fresh start in an environment where we can heal and rebuild our shattered lives.

I humbly ask for your assistance in helping us find stability once again. Your support could provide the resources necessary for therapy sessions that will help us overcome the trauma we have endured.
