Rebuild My Future: Help Me Graduate from the Rubble of Ga

My name is Mahmoud, and I was a student at the Islamic University of Gaza, a place that once stood as a symbol of knowledge, hope, and a better future. I was on my way to completing my degree — a dream I had carried since I was a child.

But everything changed.

The war has destroyed not only buildings, but lives. The Islamic University — my university — has been reduced to rubble. Our classrooms, our labs, our libraries… all gone. My home was also damaged. My family lost nearly everything — our stability, our income, and the little sense of normal life we had left.

Despite all this, I refuse to give up.

Why I’m Raising Funds

I am launching this fundraiser to cover the cost of my education — both to settle my remaining university fees in Gaza and to help me continue studying abroad. My dream is to rebuild my life through education, and eventually come back to serve my community in Gaza with the knowledge and tools I’ve gained.

In Gaza, the situation is beyond difficult. Universities are shut down or destroyed. Job opportunities are nonexistent. Even basic access to books or electricity is unreliable. That’s why I’m also looking for opportunities to study outside Gaza, where I can continue my degree in peace, with access to the resources I need.

I want to graduate. I want to contribute to my people. I want to prove that we, the youth of Gaza, are not broken — we are determined.
