Amidst the chaos and all the protests, my dad’s business was looted and destroyed. He came to America to pursue the his dream of starting his own business and dedicated the last 8 years to this shop only for it to be shattered in a matter of seconds. My dad has always been an active part of community, and continuously gave back to the homeless. This shop has not only benefitted my family, but also provided food and shelter to those less fortunate in the area.
