The $20,000 Mission: Rebuilding the Haven After Hurricane Melissa
Montego Bay Animal Haven is more than just a shelter; it is a true sanctuary where abandoned Jamaican street dogs, affectionately known as Jampups, find safety, hope, and love. For years, The devoted team have turned heartbreak into happiness, rescuing animals from the streets and preparing them for a brighter future.
But on the night Hurricane Melissa, a devastating Category 5 storm, slammed into Jamaica, that safe haven was shattered.
My name is Alex Marzouca, I am a born and raised in Kingston Jamaica but currently live in San Francisco CA. I raised money for MBAH in 2024. The 10k raised will be matched by my job turning it into a 20k donation. I post proof of donation to the haven to ensure transparency. The funds will be spent on fixing and restoring the Haven and taking care of the dogs!
