Dear Friends,

Early this morning, a fire broke out in the basement of 55 Northern Blvd, the current space of our beloved Hebrew school, MitzvAcademy. There was extensive smoke and water damage leaving the space and contents of everything Stephanie has poured her heart into in flux. While it is unclear of what the next steps are, we do know that the contents, materials and lesson plans she has spent countless hours organizing are gone. There will likely be a new home for MitzvAcademy, but as we know that takes time and resources.

I am reaching out not only as a friend, but as a parent whose child attends MitzvAcademy and has reaped the many benefits Stephanie's program has provided over the years. Stephanie has opened her heart and her home to all of our families during holidays and celebrations on countless occasions .

The most recent and last project the kids were going to do were birthday mitzvah boxes and giving back to those in need. At a time like this, a little bit can go a long way in an an effort to rebuild MitzvAcademy bigger and better and provide a little relief.
