Mike and Matt experienced extensive damage and loss overnight on Saturday, August 9th. They were powerless, in more ways than one, to save areas of their home and their cherished memories and possessions from water damage. Like others who've found themselves in emergency situations like this, they are hopeful that insurance will offer some coverage - but they already know it will not cover other things. They will need to replace mechanicals (furnace, hot water heater, a/c, etc.) both vehicles (flooded and totaled), mold and mildew mitigation, floor/carpeting, appliances, and more.

Like anyone who has faced sudden loss such as this, it is overwhelming and devastating. But if you know Mike and Matt, their hearts are hopeful and they are already filled with gratitude for their friends, family and colleagues who have physically stepped in to help.

Mike and Matt are some of our chosen family. From officiating our wedding, to cooking for each other when we are ill, to always - ALWAYS - being there for each other. We are asking for anyone who may be able to contribute and help to please consider. They are beautiful souls, who do so much for their friends and family and community. Let's show up for them!
