My name is Maxine. I am currently in Ohio, but my family is in Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa has devastated Jamaica, especially my home parish of Westmoreland. My 80-year-old, disabled mother lost the roof of her home during the storm and it needs to be replaced as soon as possible so that rain does not come in and destroy everything. I know that times are tough for everyone, but I would be grateful for any donations you could make towards remaking my mother’s home livable again.
