Rebuild Lives: RV Fire Tragedy Relief
Donation protected
I am a full-time RVer. Saturday morning, just after 1 am, I heard what sounded like an explosion. When I went outside, I saw that a couple of my neighbors' RVs were completely engulfed in flames.
While no one was physically injured, one of the neighbors barely escaped and was unable to get her German Shepherd, Scout, out of the fire.
Like me, both families are full-time RVers, so they lost almost everything they had.
Update: A third RV was also heavily damaged from the heat. The front door was melted (the whole side is warped), the AC unit was destroyed and the roof was melted.
While I assume insurance will assist, I would love to help them. An obvious tragedy, being the week of Christmas magnifies it even more.
The funds raised will be used by all of the families for the basics: temporary living arrangements and starting to replace the physical items lost to help them get back on their feet.
Anything you are able to give is appreciated, with prayers being of highest priority.
Thank you for your generosity.
12-28 Update:
You all are amazing. I wish you could feel the emotion from these people as I have given them money and explained “Don’t worry, more is coming”.
You are making a tangible difference in people’s lives at a time when they need it most.
For that, I am forever grateful.
