Early morning, tragedy struck when my parents' home went up in flames. In an instant, their world was turned upside down. My parents, John and Theodora, and kids Mark (26), Jazmin (24), Ezekiel (5), and Micah (3) were able to escape the fire through a window but not without minor injuries and smoke inhalation.
