In the wake of the recent hurricane that devastated St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, countless families are struggling to rebuild their lives. Homes have been destroyed, crops washed away, and essential infrastructure crippled. What was once a vibrant community is now facing one of its toughest battles — the fight to recover and rebuild.
Right now, families in St. Elizabeth need urgent help — food, clean water, clothing, building materials, and medical supplies. Many have lost everything. Your kindness and generosity can make the difference between despair and hope.
We are launching an emergency relief fund to support those most affected. Every contribution — no matter the size — will go directly toward:
• Providing emergency food and clean drinking water
• Supplying building materials and rebuilding homes
• Supporting local farmers whose livelihoods were destroyed
• Restoring schools and community centers
Your donation will bring immediate relief and long-term recovery to families who urgently need it.
Hi my name is Sharon St. Bernard, a true product of the Jamaican soil. My mother's roots are in the parish of St. Elizabeth, specifically, Bull Savanna and Ballards Valley.
I currently resides in Canada, however, my heart has always been in Jamaica and come to you for support in assisting the friends and families effected by hurricane Melissa.
Please give today to help our brothers and sisters in St. Elizabeth rebuild stronger than ever. Together, we can restore hope and dignity to this resilient community.
Thank you for your compassion, your solidarity, and your belief in the strength of the Jamaican spirit.
With gratitude,
