Hello everyone, my name is Beverley- many of you know me as MsBev from MsBev'sProductions. I grew up in the area with my grandmother Alice Stewart affectionately called "Sah Coolie". I still have families there and my husband also has families there. I currently teach and live in Connecticut, USA and today I am reaching out from the depths of my heart for a community dear to me- Springfield in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.

After the recent Hurricane, life in the rural areas like Springfield has become even harder. Roads blocked, crops destroyed, homes destroyed and families are struggling.

In these remote communities, help rarely reaches quickly. Many residents have no means to reach town centers where most relief supplies are distributed. So they wait- sometimes for weeks without water, food or materials to repair their homes.
