Assalaamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, dear brothers and sisters,

This Ramadan, we are raising funds to help rebuild Lama Tajpur Old Jame Masjid in a poor village in Bangladesh — a masjid that has served the community for generations but has now fallen into serious disrepair. The roof was leaking, the walls were crumbling, and the small space could barely accommodate a few worshippers. During heavy rain, the masjid would flood, making salah difficult and uncomfortable for the community.

For many families, this masjid is the heart of their daily worship — a place for prayer, Qur’an, Jumu’ah, and teaching the children. They deserve a safe, clean, and dignified house of Allah.

Alhamdulillah, construction is now progressing, but we are still £20,000 short. Without reaching this target, the work may come to a halt.

Ramadan is the best time for Sadaqah Jariyah — a charity that continues to reward you long after you give. Imagine the reward of every salah prayed, every ayah recited, and every du’a made in this masjid being added to your scale of good deeds.
