Help Rebuild Kids' Stuff
As the Director of Kids' Stuff, I have always treated the school as my own. Kids’ Stuff is a true hidden gem in the Lutz/Land O Lakes Community. Kids' Stuff school has served generations of families with a genuine family-oriented education.
As a small private school, we encountered a devasting loss from Hurricane Milton. We have been closed since Hurricane Milton due to large trees and limbs that fell on our school causing multiple holes in the roof, broken trusses and ripped shingles allowing Category 3 Hurricane waters into our buildings creating catastrophic loss. The damage was unbelievable. It is my mission to bring Kids' Stuff back to life, filling it back up with our loving teachers and our happy children and families as we knew it. You never appreciate what you've had until it's gone.
Insurance has proven not to be a dependable monetary source to cover our losses.
All of our teachers and families have been displaced for months. We have yet to re-open.
We have been fortunate to partner with wonderful vendors who have stepped in to provide their services to help us Rebuild on good faith so we can re-open to serve our community.
Many invoices are coming due without insurance payments to correspond. We are thankful to those who are working on our behalf.
Insurance is not covering even close to the amount of our estimated loss. It has been the most difficult process that our school has ever had to navigate.
If you could find it in your heart to give to our Rebuild Kids’ Stuff effort – we would be most grateful.
A gift of any amount $100 - $50 - $25 - $10 – even $5 would be respectfully accepted and will help us to repay our vendors who have stepped in to help in a time of need.
We see the light at the end of the tunnel – although this Rebuild has seemed unattainable at times, we continue to have faith.
Our starting goal is $100,000. Your donation to Rebuilding Kids’ Stuff will help recover uncovered losses that our insurance company has not recognized. We’ve had to repair trusses, contract new roofing and are in the process of replacing drywall, flooring, fencing, furniture and classroom supplies in both buildings.
Our restoration effort is quickly exceeding the estimated cost of $250,000 to Rebuild.
Please donate if you can. Help us re-open Kids’ Stuff to continue serving our community with our same quality of high value, family oriented traditional education.
