We are coming together to support Karen Fitch, a truly kind and generous member of our community, after a devastating fire severely damaged her home.
The fire has left Karen’s house uninhabitable. Her basement was destroyed, and nearly all of her belongings suffered extensive smoke and water damage. What was once a safe, welcoming home now needs significant repair and restoration.
Karen is a devoted family woman who spent more than 30 years as a teacher at Granite Elementary, dedicating her life to students and families. Even beyond her career, Karen continues to give back—volunteering her time completely free to teach engaging, hands-on science lessons that spark curiosity and excitement for Granite Elementary students. She is deeply involved, endlessly giving, and always thinking of others.
Now, Karen needs our help.
Funds raised will go toward immediate needs, replacing damaged belongings, and helping Karen and her family begin the long process of rebuilding their home and sense of normalcy.
Any donation—big or small—will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this message.
Thank you for supporting Karen during this incredibly difficult time and for helping us surround someone who has given so much of herself to others with care and compassion.
