June 12th, 2025 — the day everything changed.
A fire ripped through my store — a place that’s been part of this neighborhood for generations. I bought the business from my uncle to keep it from closing because I believed this store meant something. It wasn’t just a store — it was a pillar of our community and a way to support my family.
I’ve been running it ever since — paying the rent, covering the bills, stocking the shelves — until the fire destroyed everything.
Now I’m left with smoke-damaged walls, empty shelves, and an insurance company offering just $15,300 for a store that’s worth far more. Worse, they’re downplaying the claim because the policy is still under my uncle’s name — even though I’ve been the one fully operating and maintaining the business.
---
️ I’m raising $25,000–$50,000 to:
Repair and rebuild the store
Replace all lost inventory and equipment
Cover emergency expenses and rent while I restart
Reopen a business that this neighborhood still needs
This store helped me take care of my family — and serve my neighbors. I’m not giving up on it. But I can’t rebuild alone.

How You Can Help
If you can give $5, $20, or any amount, it will go directly toward rebuilding. If you can’t donate, please share this with someone who can. Every gesture helps.
Thank you for standing with me during this hard moment. With your help, I can rebuild what was lost — not just a store, but a legacy.
With all my gratitude,
