Matt and I are raising funds to support rebuilding efforts across Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa. Thankfully, his family in Kingston was unharmed and they’ve been deeply involved in relief missions through their community church, traveling to the hardest-hit areas with essentials like diapers, baby supplies, sanitary items, water, food, and other basics.
Jamaica is Matt’s home and the heart of his family. It’s also a place I’ve loved from the moment I first experienced its culture, music, food... its humor, and the incredibly warm, grounded sense of community that makes the island so special.
Jamaica is hurting right now, and we want to support the people and places that have given us so much. All donations will go directly to Matt’s parents’ church to continue their on-the-ground relief work, and we’ll be joining these efforts ourselves when we’re there in January. Thank you so much to everyone who contributes; any amount truly helps, and we’re deeply grateful.
