Hello, my name is Verona, a teacher here in the US. I am trying to raise funds to help my family in Jamaica who was severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa. Most of my family were in the direct path of the hurricane and they suffered severe damages, including my mother.

Roofs have been completely blown off and some partly damaged.

We are in urgent need of building materials such as galvanized zinc and plywood, I am also hoping to purchase food and other relief items to ship to help them throughout this difficult period of recovery. Financial support is needed to start the rebuilding process. Your donation, no matter the size will go directly towards helping my family to rebuild their homes and regain a sense of normalcy while coping with the trauma left in the wake of Hurricane Melissa.
