My name is Deandra Robinson-Smith. I’m writing this with a heavy heart. My cousin Tresha Gaye Medley and her beautiful family have lost their home and everything they owned because of Hurricane Melissa. They are now homeless, trying to stay strong while figuring out their next steps, but the truth is, they need help.

Tresha has always been the kind of person who gives even when she doesn’t have much — a mother, a friend, a sister, a helper to anyone in need. Now it’s her turn to receive that same love and support she’s shown so many others.

Right now, they need help with finding a safe place to stay, replacing basic necessities like clothes, food, and personal items, and starting over from nothing. It’s hard to imagine losing your entire world in one storm, but that’s what this family is going through.
