Rebuild Hope for the Price Family in Sarasota

Jesse and Rebekah Price and their two young daughters are some of the countless victims of Hurricane Debby in Sarasota, FL. On Monday August 5th, faced with rising flood waters, the Prices were forced to leave their family home to seek shelter. After being unable to escape by vehicle, Jesse and Rebekah inflated an air mattress to put their children on and walked their way to safety.

Unfortunately, their home has taken on at least a foot of water at this time, and the water is still rising. The funds from this campaign will allow the Prices to start to rebuild.

Being that their home was not in a flood zone, Jesse and Rebekah did not have flood insurance and, as Floridians know too well, their homeowners insurance will not cover the devastation of the flood waters.

Jesse and Rebekah have called Sarasota home their entire lives. They have been a part of and given back to their community in countless ways and now it's time for our community to help them. The money donated will help Jesse and Rebekah as they mitigate mold, replace walls and furniture, and address any other concerns that will arise as a result of the flood.
