Help the Merrill, Osborne, Nielsen Family Rebuild After a Devastating Fire

On Monday, September 15th at 7 AM, tragedy struck when a fire broke out at the home of my sister, Wendy Merrill Osborne , in Lyman. Several surrounding towns were called in to help, but by the time the first fire trucks arrived, the house was already engulfed in flames. Despite the efforts of many, their home of nearly 40 years was a total loss.

Wendy, her husband Dave, my niece Tia Nielsen, and Tia’s children Alaina, Phoenix, and Rorik escaped with only the clothes on their backs. They have lost nearly everything—clothing, personal belongings, and the place they have called home for decades.

This family is now facing the overwhelming task of starting over. We are reaching out to our community, friends, and anyone who can lend a hand during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping them with basic needs and beginning to rebuild their lives.
