Rebuild Hope for Sydney and Zach

While the loss felt by Hurricane Helene was devastating across the Southeast, I feel a particular tug on my heart for my friends and neighbors here on Davis Islands in Tampa, FL, Sydney and Zach. Last year, Sydney said yes to Zach’s proposal, and over the last year, they’ve planned their wedding and moved into their marital home. Over the last three months, I’ve watched as they’ve tirelessly worked to renovate their home and make it their own. Just after finishing the majority of their renovations, Hurricane Helene hit, bringing in about 3 feet of seawater and destroying all of their hard work and investment. To that end, this GoFundMe is intended to help them rebuild as a young family just starting out.
