Rebuild Hope for Sue and John After Fire Loss

Hello, my name is Sarah Swan, and I have started a GoFundMe for my mother and father, Sue and John Andaloro.

My mother's and father's apartment was one of 24 apartments that was damaged in a 9 hour fire. They resided in the Legacy apartments in Baldwinsville, NY where the fire occurred a week ago (1/24/25). We are so blessed that a friend called my mother and she was able to get out with her cat. Both my parents are disabled. My father has progressive MS and luckily wasn't there due to his condition, and my mom is struggling herself with various conditions. There is no amount of money that can get back what they lost. Everything they owned is gone. And will have to start all over again with nothing. What wasn't damaged in the fire, was damaged by the water, which then turned into ice, and possible theft that occurred Saturday into Sunday.

My mother is currently staying at a hotel but her money is running low. Luckily my father is currently at a nursing home, but the goal is that after my mother secures a new apartment, he will come back. I am asking for donations on behave of my parents. They need support to cover essentials like housing, clothes, and food as they begin to rebuild their lives.
