Rebuild Hope for Stormy's Family After Loss

Hello my friends,

On October 19th, 2024, our family lost our condo, one vehicle, and our material, familial, and personal belongings. To say we are misplaced is an understatement. We have been blessed with all humans and animals safe and alive. I thank so many people for their help the night the lights went out earlier in Sequim.

We will be in a rental for a timeframe of 9 months to one year after approvals and permits are obtained.

My husband was able to rescue our dog, who is a 14-year-old Pomeranian rescue, and the Clallam County Firefighters District saved our dear 12-year-old kitty. We are blessed that all individuals and companion animals are safe in the entire quadplex. Not everything can be replaced.

We need to raise funds to help with the immediate needs. One week emergency placement rate is over $700. We are starting week two as we wait for the rental. Thank goodness for the Red Cross and the immediate help getting to our aid so very quickly that night. Entry into a rental incurs the first month and deposits - over $3000. Thank goodness for safe, clean properties that accept companion animals. What a bummer to lose everything, including a roof over our heads, to then be forced to live without our surviving family members, who just happen to have more legs than we do.

I will need to replace my Buick Lucerne. Gosh, it was such a good, safe, beautiful, low-mileage vehicle. I shudder at the memories and sights that are in my memories now.

My friends, I am usually the first to help others because I understand the difficulties that can be placed when in a tough spot. It's part of how I grew up. Are you able to help me and my family at this time, please?
