Help Goddard Families Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa.

On October 28th, 2025, Hurricane Melissa devastated parts of Jamaica. Thousands of Jamaicans are now without safe shelter, including Rackeisha’s elderly mother and young son, Matasha’s elderly father and siblings, and Angela’s entire family, whose homes were both severely damaged. Roofs have been torn away, and major structural sections of their houses are gone. The destruction is extensive, and rebuilding will require significant resources.

As rescue teams and emergency aid organizations continue working tirelessly, many communities are still waiting for help. Families like theirs are left trying to piece together what’s left and find hope amid the devastation.

Rackeisha, Matasha, and Angela are all beloved aides at Goddard Home Health in South Jersey. They are especially known for their warmth, professionalism, and the compassion they show to every elderly and disabled client they care for. They continue their committed care of those in our community as their own families in Jamaica are in desperate need at this time. Now, it’s our turn to care for them.

We at Goddard Home Health, together with our friends at local NJ Bakery, Sweet Thang Boutique Cakery, are joining forces to support these three incredible women and their families as they begin to rebuild their homes and their lives.
