On October 18th, our home caught on fire and we lost everything.

By the grace of God, I was able to get all four of my kids and most animals out safely with the help of the VCFD.

While we are beyond grateful to be alive, we’re starting completely from scratch — our home, clothes, and all our belongings are completely gone.

As a mom, it breaks my heart to see my kids go through this, but I’m doing everything I can to keep them safe, warm, and hopeful. We are currently staying in-between places, and any donation — big or small — will go directly toward helping us get essentials, replace what was lost, and start rebuilding our life.
