Rebuild Hope for Miranda and Her Kids After Fire

Hello everyone,

My name is Miranda Diaz (Jackson).

I am the mother of Sebastian and Alyza Diaz. My kids are 9 and 10 years old, and this morning,

02/21/25 at 3:30 am, we had a fire outburst, and it took everything I owned from us in the blink of an eye.

We were all asleep, and I got us out just in the nick of time. Me, my two kids, and our one dog made it out safely before the fire burst into flames and took everything we owned from us. I am a single mother, and I no longer have anything to my name.

Everyone has asked me to make a GoFundMe, and I don't like to ask for support, but at this very moment and time, I no longer have a choice. My heart hurts for my children, who are extremely devastated, as I am as well. Your well wishes are enough, but we definitely appreciate anything you could do to help me and my family. We only have the clothes on our backs, not one charger, nothing to my name. I am at a loss for words, and I honestly don't know what to write or say besides I'm so thankful I made it out alive with both of my kids and our dog as well.

It’s definitely very tragic, and it’s very hard to believe, even for me, to watch my childhood home go up in flames in minutes. All my hard work I’ve ever put in is gone forever, and I know materials can be replaced, but things from my son who has passed on and other family members are now gone forever, and I am sad that I no longer have anything physical of memories, just what’s in my mind now.

We need to buy food and stuff for a temporary housing situation, along with clothes, undergarments, school supplies, and everything you need when you first step into a house besides our own material daily necessities.
