My name is Martin Layman.

I’m setting up this GoFundMe for my aunt and uncle, Mike and Cindy Damschen in West Bend, Wisconsin. They’re the kind of people who are always there for others—whether you need help moving, prepping food for an event, or just a friendly hand with just about anything you ask. Cindy works at the local Menards and Mike has been at Signicast foundry for 37 years. They’re hardworking, down-to-earth folks who could really use a hand right now. Recently, they faced devastating flooding that significantly shifted their foundation, left the basement walls and floor with large cracks and upstairs walls also damaged. They’ve lost everything in their basement including their washer, dryer, hot water heater, water softener and furnace. Their insurance is only offering $5,000, which is nowhere near enough to cover the repairs.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help them rebuild and get back on their feet. Any support you can give would mean the world to them.
