Rebuild Hope for Lindsay's Family After Fire

Donation protected
My name is Tammie and I'm hoping to raise money for my friend Lindsay, her significant other Jeremy, and her two kids Andrew and Samuel, as well as their two dogs Hope & Cowboy. I'm going to tell you a tragic story of how my friend lost everything she & her family owns, including her baby girl Hope.

On what started out to be a beautiful day, Saturday, June 1st, wasn't so beautiful for Lindsay & her family. At 9:30 am, Lindsay receives a call from Andrew, her oldest son, stating this was an emergency. The house is on fire and one of the dogs is still inside. Well, Lindsay, being in shock or disbelief, says get the dog out and hold on. She picks the phone back up and a police officer with the South Salt Lake Police department is on the line. He gives Lindsay his credentials and proceeds to tell her that the house is on fire and they can't locate one of the dogs. He tells her that Andrew, her son, was being treated on scene for smoke inhalation, burns, and a pretty good-sized cut.

Lindsay leaves work, gets to the house, and instantly her heart is in her stomach. She immediately tries to run into her burning home to get her baby. She is cutoff by a police office and another and another it takes 10 cops to hold her back. Well, the fire is finally out after what seemed like an eternity for her, & they found Hope. The family is devastated. Especially Lindsay, she was her baby. Turns out Andrew was asleep when the fire started, woke up to smoke above him and flames in the hallway. He rushed Cowboy out, called 911 but the operator kept him on the phone making him repeat every answer. He finally threw his phone down & went back in for Hope. Sadly, the flames and smoke have now reached the living room and as he tries to crawl on his hands & knees under the flames, he is screaming for Hope but she's not coming & at this point, he has debris falling on him & burning him. He can't breathe, he's got to get himself back out.

They have lost everything in a matter of 25 minutes or so. The house is a complete loss & Lindsay just found out that there isn't enough insurance money to finish. I'm raising this money to help with replacing everything from clothes to furniture when the home is rebuilt, anywhere from three to six months. Also for a place to stay while the house is being built, food, and what have you.
Anything helps and I/they/WE TRULY THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS AND GENEROSITY during this difficult time.
