Rebuild Hope for Jo Ann and Rex After the Storm

My name is Marshay Huskins. I live in Burnsville, NC, and work in Marshall, NC. I am starting this fund for my friend and co-worker, Ms. Jo Ann Allison. Jo Ann and Rex were deeply impacted on September 26 as their home, workshop, and property were devastated due to Hurricane Helene. Ms. Jo Ann has served in Madison County Schools as a Speech Pathologist and Pre-K Coordinator for many years and was looking forward to retiring soon. They have made a lasting impact on the Marshall community, and it is time for the community to give back to them.

Their immediate needs are financial, while waiting on any claims that may be able to provide. They would like to rebuild a home and workshop, and she would like to be able to retire in the near future, without worry. Ms. Jo Ann would never ask for help, and she has always been on the giving end. I want to make sure they have help now while sorting through their next steps.
