Hi, my name is Jansen, and I need your help. I will be honest, asking for help is incredibly difficult for me because my pride has always told me to figure things out on my own and don't be a burden to others. However, in this moment, I know I can't do it alone.

In one night, the lives of both me and my family changed in an instant. A large tree came crashing through our home during a severe thunderstorm, leaving it uninhabitable and forcing us to leave behind everything we had built. To make matters worse, we did not have homeowners insurance, and the financial burden of rebuilding has fallen entirely on our shoulders.

We are especially grateful that we and our two beloved dogs, who are like family to us, made it out safely, but we’ve lost our home and we need a safe place to call home again.
