Our Story:

Erin and Christian are two active-duty Marines who have dedicated their lives to serving this country—and now they need our help.

They met at the beginning of their military careers in 2018, stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base. From friendship to fate, the military kept bringing them together—first at Camp Pendleton, then through separate deployments to the Middle East. Their love story quietly bloomed through it all.

Christian finally asked Erin on their first real date—and their life together began. They bought their first home in San Angelo, Texas, and started building a future filled with service, love, and rescue dogs.

Erin poured her heart into fostering at Concho Valley PAWS, saving dogs at risk of euthanasia. Their home quickly grew—four paws at a time.

In the fall of 2024, Christian planned the perfect moment. During a photo shoot meant to honor their furry family, he proposed—Erin said yes.

But everything changed over Fourth of July weekend.

They woke up before sunrise to find their home flooded—over half a foot of water inside and her first car submerged in the yard. Most of their belongings were destroyed. And the worst part? They don’t have flood insurance. Nothing is covered. Every repair, every replacement, is up to them.
