Hi everyone, my name is Nickesha Simpson, and I am the owner operator of Nikki's Jamaican Kitchen in Sudbury, Ontario.
I am raising funds to help families and seniors affected by the recent hurricane in Clarendon, Jamaica in the Linstead and Kellits, seven ground area where I was born and lived for a short time before migrating to Canada.
The hurricane Melissa caused devastating damage across the parish and entire island. Many homes lost roofs, and residents are struggling without food, clean water, and electricity. Elder residents at the Banbury Home in Linstead, where my father currently lives, have been impacted and are in urgent of assistance.
Your donations will go directly towards:
Supplying food, clean water, and hygiene kits to families in Linstead and Kellits and Seven ground.
Supporting roof repairs and rebuilding damaged homes and small businesses.
Supplying medical essentials and supplies to elderly homes.
Every dollar raised will go towards bringing comfort and relief to those most in need.
This cause is deeply personal to me it's about helping the community where I was born and giving back to the people who shaped my roots.
Together, we can rebuild hope for Clarendon and Jamaica.
Thank you or your compassion and generosity.
Nickesha Simpson
