Rebuild Hope for Carmen and Her Daughter

Hello,

Unfortunately, on June 2, 2025, my daughter and I came home to a fire. My daughter's closet, bedroom, playroom, bathroom, and living room were affected, as it was on the side of the house that burned. Some of our belongings and furniture were damaged by excessive water and debris from the fire.

Believe me, I am grateful we weren't home, but at this time, our apartment is no longer livable, and we have to find a new place to call home. It has been a struggle as a single mother, and to watch what I work so hard for be destroyed is devastating.

I think it hurt most because, as a single mom, it took me a while to get us where we are, and being able to provide my daughter with things as simple as toys and to see them destroyed along with her clothing broke my heart. This apartment had so much sentimental value as we overcame many obstacles to get here. This was the first apartment I had fully furnished on my own. I know it's just material things, and I know I will get them back. So, for that, I will leave it all in God's hands. I know better days are coming for sure as long as I do the work.

At this time, we can use all the support we can get.

With that being said, I ask that you find it in your hearts to help us as we rebuild what we have lost during this traumatic experience.
