Rebuild Hope for Auntie Nulu After Ley Street Explosion
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
On what seemed like an ordinary day, Auntie Nulu Nakyanzi’s life was turned upside down. She lived in one of the downstairs flats at the Ley Street residence that tragically exploded. By the mercy of Allah, Auntie Nulu wasn’t home at the time—she had gone out to collect a repeat prescription. While we are incredibly grateful for her safety, she has lost everything she owned in the explosion.
Auntie Nulu is a loving and generous woman who has always been there for others. Whether it was offering a warm meal, a listening ear, or a place to stay for those in need, she’s been a pillar of support in our family and community. Now, it’s our turn to support her.
The explosion has left her with nothing but the clothes she wore that day. Her home, belongings, and cherished memories have all been destroyed. She is currently staying with relatives, but she urgently needs help to start again and rebuild her life from scratch.
We are setting up this GoFundMe to raise £8,000 to help Auntie Nulu with:
- Finding and securing a new place to live
- Replacing essential items like clothes, furniture, and kitchenware
- Covering immediate expenses such as food and transportation
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a big difference in helping Auntie Nulu get back on her feet. If you can’t donate, sharing this page with your network would mean the world to us.
Auntie Nulu has always faced life’s challenges with a smile and unwavering faith. Let’s show her that she’s not alone in this difficult time. Together, we can help her rebuild and bring hope back into her life.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and generosity.
With gratitude and hope,
