Rebuild Hope for Alexis and Her Girls

On the morning of April 5th, a massive tree fell onto Alexis’ third-floor apartment during high winds and lightening — with her and her two young daughters inside. By the grace of God, they escaped safely and without injury, but their home and their belongings were lost in an instant.

Alexis is a single mom who has worked so hard to create a life for her girls. She’s poured everything into providing them with stability and a place to call home, and this sudden loss has been heartbreaking. Milani is special needs and has lost everything she knew as "normal" to her.

Right now, Alexis is facing temporary housing costs, replacing furniture and clothes, and the many unexpected expenses that come with starting over — like deposits for a new apartment, groceries, and essentials for her girls.
