Help an Elderly Survivor Rebuild After Katrina and Ida
This fundraiser is for an elderly woman who has spent years enduring hardship with quiet strength, faith, and perseverance.
She survived both Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Ida, events that deeply disrupted her life and stability. In the years since, she has continued to live with very little. For more than six years, she has gone without a refrigerator and other essential household appliances. She faces ongoing health challenges and has no close family or support system to help care for her or advocate on her behalf.
Despite all of this, she remains a devoted Christian and Catholic, holding firmly to her faith through loss, uncertainty, and isolation. Now, she is facing one of her greatest challenges yet — foreclosure and the possible loss of her home.
We are raising funds to help stabilize her housing and restore basic necessities so she can live in safety, dignity, and peace.
Funds raised will help cover:
* Immediate housing costs to prevent foreclosure
* Essential household appliances, including a refrigerator
* Basic living expenses and home stabilization
* Emergency support related to her health and safety
Every donation, no matter the amount, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser. Your kindness, prayers, and support can help ensure she does not face this difficult season alone.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
